Our step-by-step guide to the core of a good detail:

1) The wheels

Always best to start with the wheels. We include ODK Rotate - a concentrated wheel cleaner, that can be diluted to suit your needs. The included empty spray bottle is to dilute and spray at your chosen concentration. A tyre brush is also included, to give the tyre walls a good clean too. The included soft microfibre wheel mitt is used to get into all the nooks and crannies of your alloys, before rinsing them all down.

2) The Pre-Wash

Waxed Junkies Tactical Citrus - a ready to use pre-wash, simply spray on the lower dirt, bug splats, bird droppings etc, allow to dwell (but not dry on the surface), then rinse away.

3) The Contact Wash

Waxed Junkies Mango Wash Shampoo and our premium ultra plush wash mitt are the ideal combo to a safe contact wash, with an amazing mango scent to make it even more enjoyable! Once washed by mitt, simply rinse the car down.

4) Drying

Next you'll need to dry the car, as after a good wash the last thing you want is for the water to dry on the paintwork and glass, leaving spots and streaks! Our twist loop microfibre drying towel makes easy work of thoroughly drying safely.

5) Adding the shine!

Now the car is clean and dry, you'll want to make the paintwork pop, Waxed Junkies Fruit Finisher Quick Detailer is ideal here, a simple couple of sprays per panel, then spread and buff. Our edgeless microfibre suits this task perfectly.

6) Glass

Now the paintwork is looking glossy, time to wipe down the glass, our dedicated glass cleaning cloth pairs up with Waxed Junkies Fizzibly Clear Glass Cleaner for an easy streak-free finish!

7) Tyres & Trim

No detail is complete without applying a tyre shine to the freshly cleaned tyre walls. Here we've chosen ODK Attire, that is easily applied with our Tyre Dressing Applicator Brush. If your car has plastic trim, Attire is also safe to use on plastics, ideal for faded trim!
